Training

Wing Chun is the only style of martial arts that is invented by a woman. By design, it is rooted in the physics of the body, styled for the smaller, weaker individual to overcome the larger, stronger opponent. This is done through speed, precision, energy and the economy of movement.

Wing Chun gained its name from a young girl named Yim Wing Chun who learned the style from a Buddhist nun named Ng Mui. Wing Chun literally translated means “Beautiful Springtime”.

Wing Chun was designed to be simple and effective. It is powerful, practical and easy to learn. It is a system designed to fluidly protect your body’s centerline and attack the opponent’s centerline while using minimal movement & energy.

Wing Chun is one of the most widely known and practiced martial arts in the world today. It emphasizes technique over brute force and is ideal for health and self-defense for both men and women.
